Cocktail For A Cure
The signature cocktail of the Bahamas, the Goombay Smash is known for much more than its fruity flavor and island ties. In 2001, the drink became the inspiration for The H Foundation’s Goombay Bash and a representation for many to find a cure for cancer.

Event Dates
In 2022, beginning on July 7th through August 7th, 14 local restaurants accepted our challenge to support cancer research by creating their own unique version of our signature cocktail, the Goombay Smash, and featuring the drink on their menu with a portion of the proceeds going back to The H Foundation.

Charity
For every Goombay Smash ordered at one of our partner restaurants, a portion of the proceeds will benefit The H Foundation and our mission to find a cure for cancer. The restaurant that sells the most Goombay Smash drinks during the Sip. Smash. Cure. Challenge will win and be recognized for their support of basic science cancer research!
