Cocktail For A Cure
The Goombay Smash, the signature cocktail of the Bahamas, is known for much more than its fruity flavor and island ties. In 2001, the beverage became the inspiration for The H Foundation’s Goombay Bash and a representation for many to find a cure for cancer.

Event Dates
In 2021, beginning on July 30th through September 5th, you could visit one of our Sip. Smash. Cure. participating restaurants that highlighted their own version of the Goombay Smash!

Charity
For every Goombay Smash ordered at one of our partner restaurants, a portion of the proceeds will benefit The H Foundation and our mission to find a cure for cancer. The restaurants can win one of two ways, the “MOST MONEY RAISED” Traveling Trophy and our “MOST VOTES” People’s Choice online poll. Come out and try a Goombay Smash and help raise money for basic science cancer research.
